The latest movie I saw is Avatar. I don't know that any movie in the near future can top the image that Avatar created. It was an experience and a great one at that. The graphics, characterization, sound, creatures, humans, technology, basically everything was PERFECT.
Academy Awards are falling into the Avatar zone this year for sure.
That's one of the most ugliest, kitschy contrived films.
